DISEASE TRANSMISSION AND INTROGRESSION BETWEEN NEANDERTHALS AND MODERNS HUMANS
Articles describing our publication in Nature communication on the dynamics of disease transmission and introgression between Neanderthals and modern humans. We study these dynamics, and show how they can explain the sustained contact zone between the populations, as well as the subsequent replacement of Neanderthals by modern humans. This is a collaboration with Oren Kolodny, Wayne Getz, Erella Hovers, Noah Rosenberg, and Marc Feldman.
WILD ASS IN THE NEGEV
Articles describing our work on inferring life-history traits from genetic data in the reintroduced Asiatic wild ass population in the Negev desert. This is collaboration with Sharon Renan, Amos Bouskila, Alan Templeton, and others at Shirli Bar-David's lab.
